Lilly is hiring! Our ADME Bioanalytical group is dedicated to supporting our discovery, preclinical and clinical research efforts. Our team works seamlessly across bioanalytical platforms to address the rapidly evolving bioanalytical challenges in discovery (non-GLP). Do you have experience in large molecule bioanalytical analysis including developing and troubleshooting assays? We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated scientist to join our fast-paced, interdisciplinary team. This role requires a working understanding of development and validation of bioanalytical methods and studies performed in an industry setting. The bioanalytical team supports all modalities (small molecules, oligonucleotides, peptides and biologics), across bioanalytical platforms (LC-MS, ligand binding, PCR) and spanning both discovery (non-GLP) and development projects (GLP). We must work seamlessly to ensure the delivery of the bioanalytical results needed to drive the portfolio forward. Some responsibilities in this role are:
Provide internal bioanalytical support for portfolio including complex method development, troubleshooting and sample analysis.
Address innovative bioanalytical challenges.
Collaborate cross-functionally with discovery, non-clinical and clinical teams, as appropriate.
Collaborate with Procurement, Quality, and R&D Operations as needed.
Interact with internal customers and other partners on bioanalytical issues.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in scientific field.
2 years of relevant experience in industry setting with familiarity of regulatory landscape.
Hands-on laboratory experience with large molecule bioanalytical methods/assays including:
Immunoassay method development
Platforms such as ELISA, MSD, Gyros, Singulex, and high-res LC-MS
Immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization method development
PCR and Flow cytometry
Familiarity with related systems and applications (LIMS, regression analysis, basic statistics, pharmacokinetic analysis)
Understanding of the current BMV guidance requirements and GLP regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
Proficient written and spoken English language skills including effective verbal communication
