The ServiceNow Security Architect is a technical leader who understands the platform and interdependencies of the modules, analyzes impacts of new requirements, and provides controls to ensure the correct technical solutions, with the right security standards are delivered. Overall, the ServiceNow Security Architect has strong technical abilities, a sound understanding of business strategy and policies that govern the ServiceNow platform and possesses advanced experience and knowledge of ServiceNow security, as well as alignment to the long term vision of enterprise solutions.
Engage with enterprise architects, Information Security, the Lilly ServiceNow team, cross functional IT partners, and vendors to enhance the ServiceNow capabilities, security model and deliver new functionality.
This is achieved through the following responsibilities:
Technical proficiency and governance of the ServiceNow platform, along with thought leadership and counsel to the Platform Owner
Partner with business teams, Enterprise Architects, ServiceNow Technical Leads and IT to ensure compliance and governance with enterprise architecture and security standards
Managing and maintaining current ServiceNow security strategy, security plan and detailed view, while leading the design and implementation of new and improved solutions
Ensure that the principle of least privilege is applied for the ServiceNow solution
Ensure the platform adheres to Lilly’s documented security controls
Manage and oversee security awareness training
Ensure the documentation and execution of processes for security reviews and audits
Align the ServiceNow capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow Roadmap
Proven ability to lead the Platform Team in implementation of the technical approach for best practices, policies, and procedures for design and development for the platform applications, security and integrations
Provides and ensures effective impact analysis of platform changes, with consistency and conformance to Standard Operating Procedures for architecture, security, data, integrations and processes
Stays current on ServiceNow products, security and applicable integrated technologies
Functional knowledge of IT infrastructure
Applied knowledge of ITIL v3
Functional or Applied knowledge of NIST Cyber Security Framework
Contributes to governance processes
Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of experience in IT
5+ years experience of the software development life cycle, spanning the entire lifecycle from project initiation to deployment, support, and retirement
Experience of the ServiceNow apps/components, System Admin skills and knowledge of industry standards for security
Security and Data Integration experience
