Workforce Productivity Services enables our partners to be productive and empowered through the delivery of our innovative technology, robust and consistent customer service. The ServiceNow Security Architect is a technical leader who understands the platform and interdependencies of the modules, analyzes impacts of new requirements, and provides controls to ensure the correct technical solutions, with the right security standards are delivered. Overall, the ServiceNow Security Architect has strong technical abilities, high learning agility, a sound understanding of business strategy, advanced knowledge of security, as well as alignment to the long-term vision of enterprise solutions.
Engage with enterprise architects, Information Security, the Lilly ServiceNow team, cross functional IT partners, and vendors to enhance the ServiceNow capabilities, security model and deliver new functionality.
This is achieved through the following responsibilities:
Technical proficiency and governance of all aspects of security within the ServiceNow platform, along with thought leadership and counsel to the Platform Owner
Partner with business teams, Enterprise Architects, ServiceNow Technical Leads and IT to ensure compliance and governance with enterprise architecture and security standards
Alignment to established security strategy, security plan and detailed view, while leading the design and implementation of new and improved solutions
Ensure that the principle of appropriate privilege is applied for the ServiceNow solution
Ensure the platform adheres to Lilly’s documented security controls
Oversee the execution of processes for security reviews and audits
Manage and oversee security awareness training for the ServiceNow team
Provides and ensures effective impact analysis of platform changes, with consistency and conformance to Standard Operating Procedures for architecture, security, data, integrations and processes
Stays current on ServiceNow products, security and applicable integrated technologies
Functional knowledge of IT infrastructure
Applied knowledge of ITIL v3
Awareness of NIST Cyber Security Framework
Contributes to governance processes
At least 7 years of experience in IT
5+ years experience of the software development life cycle, spanning the entire lifecycle from project initiation to deployment, support, and retirement

Experience with ServiceNow apps/components
Security and Data Integration experience
Depth and breadth of expertise with security, integrations, and data management
Awareness of technologies to facilitate integration needs with other platforms and cloud services
Strong verbal and written communications, along with the ability to articulate the ideas and recommendations to management, architects and cross-functional teams
A high learning agility to quickly understand and apply new technologies
Demonstrated ability to analyze, anticipate, and resolve complex issues (technical, operational, or business-related) through sound problem-solving skills.
Maintaining the appropriate awareness of ever-changing business needs, technical changes and vendor/supplier relationships and services
Demonstrate the ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) when solving business processes and/or technical problems during project delivery
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, where needs and priorities can change, with compressed deadlines
Mentor others by sharing skills, expertise and best practices
Motivation to educate self and others
Proven ability to build relationships internally and externally
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional interactions
ServiceNow certifications and/or Security certifications are a plus
