Job Description

This role encompasses the management of current product portfolio and exciting new products in the therapeutic area of oncology. The brand manager will be responsible for developing and executing a compelling operational plan for existing oncology brands as well as leading launch readiness efforts for future pipeline and engaging with key thought leader oncologists.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, willing to push boundaries and think differently, and can deliver impact in a rapidly evolving environment while maintaining a positive, team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of respective markets including current and future competitor offerings, strategy, and potential impacts on Lilly oncology pipeline

  • Gain and utilize market & customer understanding insights and commercial acumen to contribute to the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for oncology portfolio and new indications

  • Develop local strategic customer and operational plans (strategy & tactics & budget & product forecasts) in line with global marketing strategies

  • Test, monitor, evaluate marketing tactics and adjust plans accordingly

  • Work effectively with cross-functional team members from medical, sales, regulatory, market access and corporate affairs, to achieve brand/portfolio objectives

  • Establish and sustain relationships with key Thought-Leaders, patient support groups and other healthcare organizations

  • Design and analyse market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions

  • Ensure all materials and promotional campaigns are aligned to Good Promotional Practices including adherence to Lilly internal policies and procedures and local codes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or master’s degree in marketing is a plus)

  • Minimum 2-3 years of brand management experience preferably in oncology

  • Excellent Turkish and English communication skills, both written and spoken

Additional Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen

  • Leadership skills (particularly in cross functional collaboration, prioritizing, decision making, and leading without authority)

  • Superior analytical and planning skills with strong execution and follow up

  • Must be able to inspire, engage and lead a diverse group of people across multiple stakeholders and customer groups

  • Must have demonstrated the ability to develop long term strategic plans from vision to implementation with success
