This role is determined to be a flexible worker, where on-site presence in the Toronto office is expected to be 4-12 days per month, as determined by your manager and business needs.
Organization Overview:
This role will be responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, including developing, designing, and standardizing processes relating to Supply Chain and Order to Cash for a major pharmaceutical company. This role will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain/ O2C Operations, Finance, and Accounting teams to drive process improvement and efficiencies, and maintain an effective control environment.
Responsibilities:
Key Priorities
Together with Supply Chain and Order to Cash management and analysts, identify areas in need of process improvement or stabilization and lead any required remediation action plans
Drive standardization, process optimization, and complexity reduction
Apply best practices and innovative concepts into the process and system design/requirements
Ensure processes and process designs are fully documented and accessible to all stakeholders, and that any required process training is implemented via SuccessFactors (or other e-learning platforms)
Advise on business requirements for technology solutions and enhancements to increase efficiency and ensure scalability.
Identify critical processes which require cross-training
Train end-users
Serve as a critical backup to ensure continuity in Supply Chain and Order to Cash operations.
Special projects across Supply Chain and Order to Cash functions

5+ years of process improvement experience driving organizational change and optimization
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated success in implementing technology solutions
Proven results in use and deployment of continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean)
Skills
Excellent understanding of processes and controls in and around the Supply Chain and Order to Cash
Good working knowledge of SAP (SCM, SD, FICO) and integration with other systems (EDI)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to be decisive, make recommendations and influence outcomes
Ability to architect solutions that range from simple to complex
Excellent English verbal and written skills
Education
- B.A or B.S in Business, Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent
Supply Chain Certification (APICS or equivalent)
Macro, VBA, Python knowledge
Fluency in French

• Shift information M-F 9-5 PM EST
• Position location: Hybrid
• This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed-term position up to a maximum of 4 years.
