Job Title: Tender Brand Manager, Norway
Reporting to: Norway Marketing Leader
Position: fixed term.
Given the importance of these priority brands to the growth of the business, this position will have high importance across the affiliate. This role will maximize the value that our tender portfolio can bring to patients, HCP’s and Lilly and will have strategic brand responsibility within the dermatology, rheumatology and gastroenterology tender portfolio.
In this marketing role, you will be part of a diverse cross-functional team, including best practice sharing with peers and developing relationships with relevant HUB teams. Success will be achieved through building a Team Lilly culture of trust, empowerment and accountability across office teams.
The person would be responsible for leading on ensuring a successful implementation of digital customer support for all tender products (without salesforce support) and to maximise existing dermatology and rheumatology brands across Norway, as well as entering and launching in gastroenterology.
Replication mindset is essential for this role, but there will be a need to develop specific local content relating to the tender position of the brands.
Be the catalyst and champion for our tender brands within Norway under the leadership of the Norway Marketing Leader
Lead with, and ensure adherence to, integrity and compliance in all that we do
Create operational plans in line with local priorities following tender outcomes and positioning
Ensure execution excellence of the Operational Plans
Solutions developed should enhance the customer experience by utilising MCE
Monitor and track performance of the brand/s across the market.
Appropriately manage OPEX budgets, brand resources and tracking
Deliver material/content to Digital Engagement Manager for “Go to market strategy”
Accountable for developing, tracking and managing materials throughout their lifecycle via the promotional material approval process
Partner cross functional teams to ensure portfolio Success in the affiliate - Sales, PRA, Medical, MCE etc
Seek commonalities and opportunities for synergies across the hub where relevant, to help reduce volume of work and maximise efficiencies
Develop local strategies and associated messages based on tender position
Model leadership, and in line with the Team Lilly Framework and mindset, with a particular focus on the common purpose and expectations- Include, Innovative, Accelerate & Deliver
Participate and bring marketing insights to tender workshops
Understand the customer need depending on tender outcomes and Lilly’s strategy
Objective 1: Portfolio Strategy Development
Strategic Brand Development
Responsible for the development of overall strategy and operational plan, including brand operational plan, MCE Plan and identification of barriers in pursuit of delivering an exceptional customer experience
Tactic/channel planning and execution to deliver business plan goals
Demonstrate collaboration with an inclusive attitude and coaching style of communication
Understand, anticipate and adapt to changing market dynamics and their impact on the brand.
Nurturing affiliate talent
Thought Leader Development
Develop a clear Thought Leader strategy and work actively with TL’s with the development of tender specific content and solutions
Develop strong business relationships with thought leaders for the brand(s).
Marketing and Medical Interactions
Understand appropriate Marketing and Medical interactions
Provide customer and market perspectives to Medical
Translate complex medical information into actionable marketing strategies and tactics.
Objective 2: Brand Operations Management and Oversight
Be a passionate advocate for the tender brands
Foster positive relationships between the brand team, cross functional teams and the associated sales force(s) promoting the brand
Responsible for management of individual project budgets and associated operating expenses.
Help to ensure the success of the operational plan
Ensure that marketing activities meet timelines for execution as laid out in project plans
Responsible for understanding, implementation, and adherence to company policies, processes and external obligations, as applicable.
Skills and Experience Required
Technical marketing knowledge understanding the basics for marketing of pharmaceuticals
Self- motivated and able to prioritise
Strong project management skills
A solid compliance mindset and demonstrated integrity on the job
Analytical skills; analysing sales figures, market conditions and competitor performances.
Enthusiastic, curious and flexible with high learning agility.
Strong team player
Enthusiastic- ability to energise and motivate others
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Understanding the therapeutic arena and have relevant working experience from either sales- or marketing role within the given therapeutic arena (dermatology and rheumatology) is a plus.
