Lilly is seeking a Recruiter who shares our passion to make an impact on the lives of candidates, teams and ultimately patients. As part of our HR team, you will work directly with hiring managers to shape Lilly’s future by identifying and attracting extraordinary talent to the company. You will be recruiting for a company that makes a positive difference in the world.

This is an onsite role that will provide recruiting support to our new Lilly Kenosha Manufacturing site located in Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin , enabling the attraction, selection and hiring of the right talent with critical capabilities

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Proactively partner with the business to attract, select and hire diverse top talent

  • Develop knowledge of the business strategy, culture and deliverables

  • Define an overall recruiting strategy factoring in market forces, workforce planning, and diversity initiatives

  • Design tailored recruitment strategies that address the specific needs of each position and apply creative sourcing techniques to find and attract top talent

  • Improve upon existing practices and develop innovative strategies to attract diverse employees

  • Review resumes for external postings and provide hiring managers a diverse slate of candidates

  • Build and maintain relationships with key local talent pools like universities, career groups, local labor groups, and local job boards/conferences.

Deliver an excellent experience for candidates and hiring managers in alignment with our Lilly brand

  • Manage full cycle recruitment process for candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate and hiring manager experience

  • Present and sell Lilly’s value proposition to candidates by articulating a clear and compelling message about our mission, values and business strategy

  • Effectively represent the Lilly brand to all candidates in the recruitment process

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and provide counsel on hiring decisions and offer negotiations

  • Drive the offer process, including extending offers and closing candidates

Demonstrate recruitment expertise to the business to deliver results

  • Provide coaching to hiring managers regarding attracting, interviewing, and selection processes including a diversity and inclusion focus throughout

  • Actively establish effective working relationships with key business support personnel (HR business partners, compliance, legal, relocation, immigration)

  • Advise hiring managers on diversity and inclusion, competitive offers and market trends

  • Drive compliance in the talent acquisition process across all stakeholder groups

  • Use excellent judgment and thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

  • Attend Outreach to local and national diversity associations and organizations for active and passive referrals

  • Source candidates using LinkedIN, job boards, niche web sites, internet searches, CRM system and other passive candidate generation techniques

  • Provide and use labor market intelligence and recruitment trends to improve diversity sourcing

  • Manage sourcing and recruitment vendors

  • Attend relevant career fairs to attract diverse talent, build the Lilly brand and develop new talent sources

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of three years of recruiting experience

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Preferred attributes but not required:

  • Sourcing or human resources experience

  • Excellent business partnering skills and ability to build relationships at all levels

  • Driven to find creative, tailored solutions to solve issues or improve processes

  • Charismatic people person who can talk to anyone and negotiate the best outcome for the candidate and company

  • Experience supporting Manufacturing organizations
