This work will contribute to the understanding of how B and T Lymphocyte Attenuator (BTLA) regulates T cell differentiation, and neo-antigen immunity. Some responsibilities in this role are:
Advance our understanding of how the immune inhibitory checkpoint receptor, BTLA, regulates T cell differentiation and activation.
Dissect the mechanism of action of how BTLA agonist antibodies regulate immune reaction to neo-antigens.
Work with senior and associate scientists within Immunology Discovery, Translational Immunology, Biotechnology Discovery Research, and other organizations across the company.
Identify areas of key need across Immunology Discovery and champion creative solutions to address those needs. Maintain external awareness and learning to benefit the organization.
Present findings at conferences and publish in high quality peer-reviewed journals.
PhD in Immunology or related field
Strong background in immune checkpoint receptors preferred
This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend to 3 years and for maximum of up to 4 years.

Proficient in data analysis and reporting
Strong capabilities in cell & molecular biology, cell signaling, flow cytometry, ELISA, and gene expression
Experienced with fluorescence/confocal microscopy, SeaHorse, Nanostring, and animal models preferred
