We are seeking an ambitious post-doctoral scientist with strong research and communication skills to contribute to high visible research projects. This work will contribute to the development of the next generation Autoimmune therapeutics and tailoring strategies. Some aspects of this role include:
Characterize immune checkpoint receptor expression on diverse cellular subsets in Autoimmune disease pathology setting, using multiparameter techniques such as CyTOF and CODEX.
Contribute to informing new target selections and future clinical trial patient selection strategies.
Work closely with Lilly Discovery and Translational Scientists. Have significant interaction with Therapeutic multifunctional project teams.
Identify areas of key need across clinical development and champion creative solutions to address those needs. Maintain external awareness and learning to benefit the organization.
Present findings at conferences and/or publish in high quality peer-reviewed journals.
PhD in life science related field; Strong background in immunology or related area preferred
Self-directed and highly motivated individual who wants to learn new techniques while continually pursuing research and publication goals.
Excellent communicator (oral and written) with presentation experience, along with a strong publication record.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting
Experienced with single cell techniques including flow cytometry, CyTOF, microscopy or CODEX
Experienced with primary Immune cell e.g. T cell in vitro assays
Interest in Autoimmune diseases and Translational Immunology
This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend to 3 years and for maximum of up to 4 years.
