Associate Director, MSL&Launch Project role is responsible for the medical affairs execution excellence. He/She will provide leadership and supervision to MSL , Medcial lauch Mgrs and other TA related functions. He/She will be coordinating multiple medical functions (HO, SciCom, MedInfo, MSL, Stats, etc.) to develop an integrated medical plan for both new product launch and on marketing product, responsible for medical planning, tracking and delivering of overall medical programs. Partnering with CRPs, she/he will ensure the strategic contribution to medical strategy, and brand/customer plan from medical end.

Primary Responsibilities:

Leadership and supervision

  • Be responsible for recruiting the talent needed, job performance oversight, developing relevant and high quality training, managing functional career paths

  • Provide functional influence, leadership, coordination, and management across geographies/regions and integrate business functions to increase functional effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Serve as the key interface for other functional areas engaging in medical affairs and launch activities.

Creation of integrated medical plan :

  • Provide or drive effective and accurate communication of planning milestone, cross functions strategy awareness, key decisions/results that have team, asset, and/or organizational impact.

  • Ensure the strategic contribution to medical strategy, and brand/customer plan from medical end.

  • Faciliate the creation of integrated medical plan, working closely with CRP and and medical cross-functional leaders.

  • Ensure medical plan is aligned with overall brand strategy.

Deliver the business results. .

  • Accountable for delivery of project milestones with quality on time, on budget, and within scope

  • Lead/drive the team to meet or exceed overall project goals

  • Tracking the overall medical programs:

  • Point of contact and support for functions responsible for delivery of customer facing information and tactics.

  • Develop and implement a medical team communication plan to ensure alignment with different medical functions.

Application and integration of processes

  • Lead the implementation, application, and integration of standard project management processes and tools

  • Support performance of medical cross-functional teams, and influence team culture.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Master Degree or above in Medicine related.

  • At least 10 years of clinical experiences and/or industrial experiences in Medical Affairs or other relevant functions.

  • Minimun 3-year people management experiences is required.

  • Past clinical and/or industrial experiences in therapeutical area.

  • Strong leadership and ability to work across functional. Ability to influence others without direct authority.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly and succinctly within the organization; able to develop credibility in a network that spans a wide variety of functional components

  • Strong business acumen, and deep understanding of business fundamentals with the ability to maintain holistic view of launch readiness.

  • Medical Affairs launch experience is preferred.
