Nordics Portfolio Brand Leader - Oncology

Location - Any Eli Lilly Nordic Office

Reporting to Nordic General Manager

As the leader of a highly engaged team, the Oncology portfolio Brand Leader is accountable for leading the commercialisation of the Oncology Portfolio across the Nordic affiliates ( Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark), with people leader responsibilities for the brand teams in these countries. This individual will be responsible for closely partnering with several functions, including:

  • UK & IE Brand leaders, Pricing & Reimbursement, Medical, Finance, Legal, etc.

  • Delivering strategic objectives for the Oncology Portfolio in the Nordics.

  • Maximising the value that the portfolio brings to our target patients, to HCPs, and Lilly.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and People Management

  • Lead, coach & manage a high-performing and diverse team.

  • Demonstrate leadership with the Brand Leaders across the hub to develop and align the Nordics Brand Strategy with guidance from NE Hub & Global Brand team.

  • Lead the execution of brand strategies with strong governance.

  • Foster innovation and challenge the status quo

  • In partnership with Brand Managers and CMO, build marketing capabilities across the team in line with the Northern EU Hub/Global strategies and Lilly capabilities.

Brand strategy development and brand management

  • Overall portfolio sales performance and budgeting (OPEX).

  • Making trade-off decisions to maximise the commercial potential of the portfolio.

  • Localising core messaging and moments of truth (MOTs), through a deep understanding of the patient journey and key customer insights.

  • Maximise the utilisation of the international content factory & best practices to ensure the Brand Team is utilising strategies and solutions from the Global teams

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Lead with a strong compliance mindset in everything we do.

  • Accountable for team compliance to Promotional Material Approval Process (PMAP) with only fully approved and certified materials in use and timely withdrawal of all expired materials

  • Accountable for understanding, implementing, and ensuring adherence to company policies, processes and external obligations, including local pharma code(s) and Red Book.

  • Accountable for team compliance to PMAP process with only fully approved and certified materials and timely withdrawal of all expired materials for the portfolio.

Thought Leader Engagement (TLE) and Endorsement

  • Oversee and approve the Thought Leader Strategy.

  • Engage actively with key Thought Leaders (Regional, National and International), to build long-term relationships , to drive Thought Leader endorsement for our target patient strategy.

Support and engagement with Field-Based Personnel

  • Provide oversight of brand strategy and goals for sales meetings.

  • Accompanying on (virtual) field rides to understand sales professional, HCP and patient experience.

  • Accountable for an effective Customer Dialogue Model (CDM) team to ensure an agile feedback loop is in place.
