Help make life better for people by delivering Lilly products. You will do this by building & sustaining valued partnerships with our customers, primarily general practitioners. The role will involve travel to service customers and to attend business meetings. The role will involve some evening and weekend work attending company and industry meetings.
Achieve sales targets by promoting products to targeted customers
Develop strong, long term relationships with targeted customers
Ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained at all times
Represent the company at scientific and industry meetings as required Develop & maintain excellent knowledge of disease area, products, competitors and market developments in the relevant disease state area
Develop detailed territory business plans, based on territory analysis, to meet the planned objectives within a geographical area
Be a strong team player and work collaboratively and professionally alongside all colleagues
Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards and company policies
KEY COMPETENCIES & SELECTION CRITERIA
Prior sales experience in pharmaceutical or medical industry, pharmacy or retail, preferred
Selling capability with a strategic customer focus
The ability to work collaboratively, build and maintain relationships with key customers and Lilly colleagues
The ability to understand and disseminate scientific information and related disease states
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding business drivers for both customer and organisation
The ability to review data, strategically plan actions that are implemented with the desired outcomes and accountability for these actions
The ability to effectively deal with a wide variety of people, challenging situations and is comfortable with complexity
The ability to evaluate emotions of self and others in order to understand drivers of behavior and build valued relationships
The ability to be determined to achieve a goal, ability to adapt to change and move forward after disappointments and setbacks
Tertiary qualification in science, pharmacy, nursing or business
