Lilly Strategy and Operations Officer in Vernier, Switzerland

Purpose of Position:

The Strategy and Operations Officer is responsible for strategy and operations governance across the Swiss Affiliate, including how and when to evaluate key execution elements (Sales, Marketing, 3rd party, launch prioritization) including stake-holder mapping and communication on key transformation projects.

Key Job Responsibilities:

People:

  • Creates an inclusive team focused on ensuring volume growth for key brands and driving efficiencies and synergies across the organization

  • Actively participating in lead team in order to maximize people, patients and performance!

  • Attract, develop and retain talent by being responsible for any cross-brand trainee’s as well as supporting the broader organization

  • Responsible for governance across lead team and affiliate including how and when to evaluate key execution elements (Sales, Marketing, 3rd party, launch prioritization) across the affiliate including stake holder mapping and communication on key transformation projects

  • Models Team Lilly behaviors to ensure marketing team feels valued, cared for and trusted.

Patients:

  • Drive customer plan process and key IBU processes in partnership with key stakeholders

  • Accountable for any products in NPP – product valuation for Switzerland and strategic planning to ensure resources for the future (18+ months out) products.

  • Point person for centralized agency selection and leveraging cross brand / cross BU resources in order to accelerate the business.

  • Management of Sample Process within Switzerland.

Performance :

  • Create a performance centric team focused on removing barriers and acceleration in order to deliver results

  • Responsible for synergies und standardization across functions (medical, marketing, sales) within the Swiss Affiliate including supporting lead team as necessary

  • Drive process improvements for Team Lilly Switzerland including small i, innovation and bigger innovation ideas.

Position Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Marketing, Finance or relevant pharmaceutical experience

  • Proven leadership experience, formal or informal

  • Experience in working with and leading cross functional teams

  • Ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment

  • Strong organizational skills and a willingness to get into details and drive clarity.

Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Science

Languages: English, German, French.
