Eli Lilly Canada is currently searching for an Associate Consultant: Compliance, Monitoring & Training as a key member of the Customer Operations and Contract Services Team. You will manage the company wide monitoring program, identify areas to improve business systems based on monitoring findings and business needs, and improve customer touchpoints for remarkable customer experiences.

Works with the Ethics and Compliance Officer to align the enterprise risk management (ERM) program to the ELC needs and priorities
Support the creation and execution of the overall monitoring plan for ELC, along with key stakeholders
Monitor specific areas aligned to the Ethics and Compliance protocol – both desk and live (virtual) monitoring. The scope covers diverse and multiple activities across the affiliate.
The candidate will be required to interact with all cross-functional areas and people at all levels.
Analyze monitoring findings, connect with the key stakeholders to create awareness and collaborate with them to determine if the “Corrective Actions Preventive Actions” (CAPA) were followed, and if they need to be revised
Determine if findings require deeper investigation, and partner with HR on investigations as well as liaise with policy centre of excellence (PCoE), if any additional interpretations are necessary
Work with the Ethics and Compliance Officer to keep the “Standard Operating Procedures” (SOP) pertinent and current based on periodic reviews results and findings
Adapt the monitoring programs based on the affiliate compliance performance period over period to ensure the highest level of compliance
Based on risks found from Compliance monitoring, Business monitoring, and Internals Audits, work with Compliance Officer to build F2F training for the business to build Learning Organization capabilities
Liaise with key stakeholders for enhancements and recommendations for changes to the MyIntegrity app for the business, primarily focused on Sales.
Field questions from the business on ethical and compliance matters, discuss with Compliance Officer and liaise with the business to derive solutions - provide interpretation of job aids and SOPs for the business
Aid the compliance officer in the periodic review revisions to Policies and Procedures
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
University degree, prefer graduate degree in science and/or business
Medical, audit, accounting or related experience
Project management, conflict resolution, and policy writing
Deep understanding of the various ethical interaction and compliance policies affect how we work with different external parties
Understanding of various funding lanes and documentation requirements
Disciplined with a high attention to details
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently to resolve issues and make progress on objectives
Demonstrated creativity in problem solving and customer solutions
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Learning agility and retention of various legislation including Health Canada. Innovative Medicines Canada, and PAAB Codes
Prefer French language skills
