Lilly is designing and building a new state of the art Parenteral, Device Assembly, and Packaging Facility located at the Research Triangle Park (RTP) in North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and operate a state-of-the-art manufacturing site and Quality System from the ground up.
Our new RTP facility will be one of Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing sites and will include robotic technologies, integrated OT and IT technologies, and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will result in safety improvements, increased productivity, and variability reduction.
As the HMI/SCADA Platform Administrator you will provide integration, data management, engineering, security, and platform expertise for the implementation and management of these technologies.
Partner with Corporate Automation, Automation Integrators, and Global Facilities delivery to design, install, and qualify the site Rockwell based FactoryTalk View HMI/SCADA Platforms, Lilly’s OT/IT integration layer, and end-point cyber security solutions.
System Administration ownership of these platforms post-delivery including user access controls, life cycle management, process improvements, data management, and system maintenance.
Manage and own the system security including data integrity.
Perform audits and periodic assessments of the systems to ensure compliance with Global Quality and Engineering Standards.
Lead the management and growth of the platforms and support of manufacturing process teams as new systems are added to the facility.
Partner with Corporate Automation, Information Technology, and Information Security for global initiatives and life cycle management.
Be a champion for site safety activities, diversity/inclusion, ethics, and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related science/technical field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in automation or platform system administration
Experience in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View SE HMI Platforms or related technology.
Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC’s and other related automation technologies.
Experience in ISA S95 principles and IT/Automation integration.
Experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP industry.
Experience working with validated systems.
Experience in managing IT/OT platforms.
Experience in Microsoft operating systems, virtual environments, and networking.
Experience in databases and visualization.
Communicate effectively with internal customers, business partners, and leadership including written and visual presentations.
This position will be based out of our Raleigh area, North Carolina plant, however, a business travel to Indianapolis, Indiana may be required.
Schedule - 8 hour days - Monday through Friday, overtime and some weekend/holiday may be required for project support.
Travel - Domestic and International travel may be required (10%)
