The purpose of this role is to develop and transform sales capabilities in line with the ever-evolving Lilly product portfolio and our customer needs. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to enable the Lilly sales teams to enhance the value and customer experiences Lilly provides with the goal of helping make life better for people across Australia and New Zealand.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lilly Sales Capabilities Consultant will:
Develop sales capabilities across existing and new brands and therapeutic areas.
Understand the need and purpose of prioritised sales capabilities across Lilly Sales teams, e.g., Value Based Selling, Institutional Account Management and Business Ownership.
Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing and Commercial teams to develop and deliver innovative, impactful, continuous improvement training programs across sales. This includes measurement, evaluation and follow through to application of learning.
Work as part of Lilly's regional (ANZ, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong) Sales Training Group to develop and/or localise learning interventions and best training practice.
Develop and maintain an effective business partnerships with Alliance trainers.
COMPETENCIES & SELECTION CRITERIA
Prior Knowledge and Experience:
Proven minimum 2 years’ experience in sales capability development -Pharmaceutical industry experience highly desirable
Formal training & development qualification
Technical expertise to apply proven learning methodologies to progress capabilities
Significant field experience in Pharmaceutical selling and/or coaching is highly desirable
Lilly Sales Capabilities Consultant will have:
Flexibility & Learning Agility: The role works across Lilly brands and therapeutic areas, therefore agility, ability to quickly grasp information is essential.
Creativity: As Lilly's portfolio grows, to meet customer needs, the Sales Capabilities Consultant will need to think creatively to maximise learning opportunities for sales teams.
Ability to Prioritise: As Lilly's portfolio continues to grow, the ability to think critically to prioritise make trade-off decisions alongside key business contacts is essential.
Ability to Influence: The role will need to collaborate across multiple business units and have the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.
