The purpose of this position is to provide technical, operational and communication support within the supply chain. The internal and external environment in which Lilly operates is becoming more complex and continually changing. It is important for Supply Chain operations to anticipate, develop and continually evolve how the organization operationalise and support core processes, systems and data to meet the current and future business needs.


  • Assist the end-to-end inventory requirements of both the Australian and New Zealand affiliates from coordinating efforts with overseas sites, including manufacturing site importation scheduling, export orders to NZ and managing the warehousing and distribution from our third-party partner.

  • Ensure appropriate demand forecasts are always visible in SAP

  • Assist the Senior Supply Chain Associate by calculating OSSCE metrics and assisting to prepare S&OP presentations

  • Practice strong customer relationship management by being a key contact for Lilly’s customers

  • Ensure Lilly’s compliance to sell medication by collecting wholesale licenses, distributing T&Cs and liaising with Medical Affairs to ensure Lilly’s licence is up-to-date and on record

  • Ensure compliance with policy reviews and TPE

  • Liaise with Customer Operations teams to effectively supply samples

  • Assist the senior supply chain associate to ensure accurate stock management through annual stocktake and periodic cycle count reviews

  • Run obsolete report and recommend provision to Finance manager for accruals

  • Raise Shopping carts as required

  • Actively manage the shared Supply Chain mailbox to provide timely responses​

Critical preferences:

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience

  • Demonstrated experience and ability with internal systems, data analysis, reporting preparation, Microsoft Office Suite experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and collaboration sites

  • Autonomous with ability to flex and collaborate cross-functionally (e.g. work in diverse team environments)

  • Effective time management with ability to prioritize, identify trade-offs and align with leadership

  • Detail-oriented, organized with strong planning and execution Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Commitment to learning, growth and influencing others

Additional preferences:

  • Relevant tertiary degree / certificate

  • Previous experience supporting cross-functional leaders and teams in a fast-paced regulated environment

  • Compliance and internal/external controls experience

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
